Nadiia Chaban

Nadiia has been working in digital design and illustration for over 14 years, specializing in branding, textile and graphic design, and illustration. Her passion for visual storytelling and aesthetics has led her to collaborate on various creative projects, both independently and within teams. She holds a Master’s degree in Czech and English linguistics from Kyiv Slavonic University and has furthered her education in digital design at the Institute of Digital Design and Multimedia in Košice.

In addition to her design career, Nadiia has a strong connection to the world of climbing and outdoor activities. With 20 years of climbing experience, she has been an active member of the climbing community, organizing three climbing competitions in Kyiv, Ukraine, and providing design support for children’s climbing competitions for five years. Her love for working with children also led her to spend two years as a kids’ climbing instructor, where she combined her passion for movement and education.

After relocating to Slovakia, Nadiia continued to apply her design expertise in an international context. She contributed to the visual identity and promotional materials for the Tatry Information Center in Vysoké Tatry, supporting the region’s tourism and cultural initiatives and helped to organise programme Nature as a healing for refugees as climbing instructor.

Beyond her professional work, Nadiia enjoys exploring the mountains, drawing nature-inspired illustrations, and engaging in various outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and cycling. Her diverse background in design, education, and outdoor sports allows her to bring a unique perspective to every project she undertakes.
